What's On 2021-2022

For over a year we have been unable to meet due to the Covid epidemic.

Thankfully, we are able to begin our series of meetings and visits again and will be constantly updating this page to keep you informed, so it is important you visit regularly.

All meetings start at 2pm and are at The Crown in Nantwich unless otherwise stated.

11th September  - meeting at the Parish Hall, Nantwich, Philip Hume speaking on Edward IV and Richard, Duke of York as Marcher Lords.


9th October - David Fawcett speaking on Law and Order in the Medieval Period

12th March - Our speaker, Justin Soper talks on The Road to Bosworth


2nd April - The Ashdown-Hill Memorial Lecture, the Parish Hall, Nantwich, 4pm. Society chairman, Matt Lewis gives the inaugural lecture on "The Survival of the Princes in the Tower". Honoured guests include Philippa Langley, Annette Carson, David and Wendy Johnson of the Looking for Richard Project.
